Acrison's Weigh Belt & Weigh Auger Weigh Feeders

Model 203 Series Weigh Belt Feeders

Model 203 FeederThe Model 203 is a multiprocessor controlled, fully digital weigh belt weigh feeder that combines the high performance of an integral metering mechanism with a highly responsive, non-load cell based weighing system and an advanced, state-of-the-art controller.

Capacities range from 60 to 48,000 pounds per hour (based on product weighing 40 pounds per cubic foot).

Metering accuracies generally range between ± 0.25 to 1 percent or better (error) at two sigma, based on a given number of consecutive one minute weighments.

Model 203B Series Weigh Auger Weigh Feeders

Model 203B Feeder. Click here for details.A multiprocessor controlled, fully digital weigh auger weigh feeder that combines the high performance of an integral metering mechanism with a highly responsive, non-load cell based weighing system and an advanced, state-of-the-art controller. The Model 203B provides a totally enclosed arrangement where the entire product metering zone is isolated from both the atmosphere as well as all areas of the weighing mechanism.

Capacities range from 120 to 136,000 pounds per hour (based on product weighing 40 pounds per cubic foot).

Metering accuracies generally range between ± 0.25 to 1 percent or better (error) at two sigma, based on a given number of consecutive one minute weighments.

Model 260 Series Weigh Belt Weighers/Feeders

Model 260 FeederA multiprocessor controlled, rugged-duty, fully digital weigh belt weigher (wild-flow) and weigh belt weigh feeder series to satisfy high capacity weighing requirements. Model 260 Feeders/Weighers also feature an Acrison high resolution, non-load cell based, counterbalanced weighing system mounted above the weigh belt, out of the product metering zone.

Standard feed output capacities range from approximately 80 to 7100 cubic feet per hour (higher and/or lower capacities may be available).

Weighing or metering accuracy typically ranges between ±0.25 to 1 percent or better (error) at two sigma, based on a given number of consecutive one minute weighments.

Model 270 Series "In-Line" Weigh Feeders

Model 270 In-Line Weigh Feeder ModuleRepresenting a revolutionary new concept for continuous weigh feeding, the Model 270 Series offers processors an economical, precise and reliable method for metering a wide variety of dry solid ingredients at moderate to high rates in an "in-line" vertical configuration.

Developed in direct response to user needs, the Model 270 Series of Weigh Feeders provide accurate and dependable performance in a totally dust-tight, vertical in-line configuration. With their compact design and only one moving part, these novel weigh feeders typically require less installed space than most other type heavy-duty weigh feeders having similar throughput capacities.

In operation, a circular weigh chamber, housing a series of rotating "weigh pockets", is mounted onto an ultra high resolution Acrison weighing system. A separate variable output metering device (or prefeeder), typically a rotary valve or screw type metering mechanism, attached directly to product supply, feeds material into the top inlet of the weigh feeder within which the slowly rotating constant speed "weigh pockets" continuously weigh the product. Material is then discharged through the bottom outlet of the weigh feeder, which is directly (or vertically) in-line with its inlet.

As material is fed into the weigh chamber, a weight signal is produced that is instantaneously calculated into a continuous feed rate by the weigh feeder's controller. Based on this calculation, the controller modulates the speed of the prefeeder so that its output precisely matches the selected feed rate, resulting in an accurate, continuous and uniform flow of material.

Model 270 Series Weigh Feeders utilize Acrison's exclusive counterbalanced weighing system, equipped with Acrison's Ratiometric Digital Weight Resolver for superior weight sensing and trouble-free long-term operation. Thus, because of the counterbalanced design of the weighing system, only the net weight of the material within the feeder's weigh chamber is actually weighed. In turn, optimum weight sensing resolution is realized, producing the highest possible degree of metering accuracy.
