Acrison's Bin Discharger Feeders utilize an integral metering auger (within the body of an Acrison Bin Discharger) to provide a metered output of even the most difficult-handling dry solid materials. This configuration eliminates the additional hardware and height required to mount a volumetric feeder beneath a bin discharger.
The Bin Discharger Feeder is commonly utilized as the integral hoppering/metering portion of an Acrison "Weight-Loss-Differential" Weigh Feeder since the Bin Discharger Feeder does not produce any forces which could adversely affect the precision weighing system. Also, the Bin Discharger Feeder provides a positive and accurate feed, essential for optimum performance of a weight-loss weigh feeder.
Acrison Bin Discharger Feeders are available with square or round inlet flange configurations in standard sizes of 2, 2.5, 3, 4 and 5 feet. As standard, the metering auger is furnished with a variable speed DC drive with individual constant speed drives powering each of the two augers/agitators.
